The St Mary’s U15 tennis team participated in the U15 Afrikaans Meisiesskool Prestige tennis festival where 16 schools from all over the country took part in this prestigious event.

The team comprising of Nina, Taylor, Sophie, Isabella and Idara played tennis of a high standard to win their pool section and qualify for the quarter-finals.

St Mary’s beat the teams from Waterkloof, Paarl Girls High School and Potchefstroom Gymnasium.

St Mary’s lost in a close match to the team from Bloemhof in the quarter-finals and ended in sixth place.
