One of the charity initiatives which St Benedict School in Pinetown has supported over the years, and continues to do so, is the collection of bread tags and plastic bottle tops. Mrs Sue Martin from The Sweethearts Foundation recently joined us at our assembly and spoke to the pupils about the importance of collecting these items which are then recycled. The money made from this is used to buy wheelchairs for those who are in need.
