St Benedict School Foundation Phase Prizegiving

The culmination of every school year sees the annual prize-giving ceremonies where pupils are recognised for their achievements throughout the year. St Benedict School in Pinetown is justifiably proud of all the primary school pupils who have worked so hard during the year. Many of these children were acknowledged with certificates and trophies, but every single child deserves a mention for trying their best and overcoming their own individual challenges.
In the Foundation Phase (Gr 1-3), pupils in Grade 3 are recognised with special awards at the end of the phase. Robyn Dawson was awarded the Glory of God Trophy which is given to a pupil with a sound knowledge of religious education, who contributes positively to the ethos of the school and follows a lifestyle which is reflective of their faith. She was also awarded the Good Fellowship Award which is voted for by the students themselves. This award is given to a person who shows kindness and compassion to their fellow pupils and is always friendly.
