The Filmit Festival is a Paul Roos Gymnasium initiative – aimed at career and skills development within the digital sphere, creating experiential learning opportunities for creative learners from Southern Africa, and creating a platform for authentic African stories to be told and shared. The Filmit Festival ran for the second consecutive year with partners Suidooster and ClemenGold. At the awards ceremony on 4 November, the Filmit Festival announced a brand new and exciting partnership with the popular Cape Town arts festival – Suidoosterfees.
