Northwood School crowned KZN Surfing Champs for the 2nd year in a row! With some super fun waves and very good competitive surfing, our 2nd team unfortunately bowed out in the semi-finals, but it was our 1st team that went on to be the stars of the day… With some blistering top turns and hard and fast rail surfing, Matthew Canning and Rylie Balfour went on to place 1st and 3rd in the KZN Schools Surfing Individual Finals. In a tightly contested heat, with some great surfing again from our 1st team, we proudly lifted the KZN Tag Team Trophy for the second year running! Northwood made a clean sweep of the afternoon against some stiff competition to be the reigning Tag Team and Individual KZN Schools Champions.
