Madimakatso  learner of New Horizon College Bethlehem attended the Northern Free State hockey trials on the 10th of April, where she competed against some of the best young players in the province. Through her determination, skill, and passion for the sport, she successfully earned her place in the Northern Free State (NFS) Under 18 B Girls team for 2026.

Her selection is a testament to her dedication, discipline, and consistent hard work. Representing Northern Free State at this level is a great honour, and Madimakatso has shown that she has what it takes to compete and excel. According to the official team list, Madimakatso represents NCH Bethlehem and is part of the Platteland region—an achievement that reflects both her individual talent and the strength of her development.

The team is expected to tour later this year, with final tour dates and arrangements still to be confirmed.
