The final day of National Science Week 2026 at Newcastle High School concluded with an exciting showcase of Physical Sciences and Life Sciences demonstrations, where learners confidently presented their scientific knowledge, creativity, and innovation. Through engaging experiments, research projects, and interactive demonstrations, learners demonstrated the importance of scientific inquiry and problem-solving while inspiring their peers to explore the world of STEM.
A heartfelt thank you goes to all the learners who dedicated their time, effort, and enthusiasm to their projects and demonstrations. Your commitment and passion for science made this event an outstanding success and reflected the true spirit of innovation and excellence.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Boss Auto for their generous sponsorship of 100 bottles of water for our learners, Thank you Kidz Space, Dr E. Y. Vahed, and Labour Solutions, Your support contributed greatly to the success of the event and the well-being of everyone who
participated.
National Science Week 2026 was proudly coordinated by Mr P. Harriparsad, whose dedication to mentoring learners, organising the programme, and fostering a passion for science helped make the week a memorable and inspiring experience for the entire school community.
“The important thing is to never stop questioning.”  Albert Einstein .The week concluded with a celebration of curiosity, innovation, collaboration, and scientific excellence, leaving learners inspired to continue exploring, discovering, and shaping the future through science.
