Melkbosstrand High School Tug-of War results

Congratulations to all Melkbosstrand High School senior tug of war athletes that competed in the Western Province Championships.
Boys:
- Logan Jubber and Aidan Victor : 600kg U/23 Boys, Gold medal.
- Anru Erasmus, earned a Gold in the 580kg Senior Boys category.
Girls:
Valsbaai B team that secured Gold in the U/23 Women 500kg division. (This powerhouse team included Carli de Ridder, Anja van Jaarsveld, Kiera Kachelhoffer, Jordan van Wyk, Mia Crous, Caitlyn Cooper, Samantha Pieters and Lize Erasmus, with Erin Visagie as a dedicated reserve.) We are also proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of the Valsbaai B team, who claimed Bronze in the Women’s 500kg division! (This team was made up of Anja van Jaarsveld, Kiera Kachelhoffer, Jordan van Wyk, Caitlyn Cooper, Erin Visagie, Tiana Strydom and Zoe Rheeder.) A huge congratulations to the Valsbaai A team, who brought home the Gold medal in the Women’s 500kg division! This team featured three of our senior athletes: Lize Erasmus, Carli de Ridder, and Samantha Pieterse.
Carli de Ridder also achieved the following:
- 2nd place in the 560kg Mixed U/23,
- and 2nd place in the 540kg Girls.
- Samantha Pieterse also achieved:
- Gold in the 560kg U/23 Mixed,
