Ligbron Academy of Tegnology athletes participated in the Gert Sibande District Athletics

Ligbron’s athletes participated in the Gert Sibande District Athletics Championships during the past weekend. 17 athletes qualified for the Mpumalanga Athletics Championships that will be held on 16 March in Secunda.
The five girls that will represent Ligbron at the Mpumalanga Championships are Lysencke du Plessis, Brenda Kirsten, Alzira Potgieter, Angela Brefo and Roxy Steenberg.
The following boys qualified for the Mpumalanga Championships: (front) Katleho Sibiloane, Siphosethu Mhlabini, Lwazi Sibanyoni, Darius Boshoff, Lebogang Lubisi, Luan Jansen van Rensburg and Lizwe Mkhumane.(Back) Ruan van Zyl, Niyanda Malinga, Ian Booysen and JP Potgieter.
