Woensdag, 21 Augustus 2024, het die o.13-A rugbyspelers weer eens die geleentheid gehad om as kelners by Aliwal-Noord se Wimpy op te tree.

This is a yearly event that serves as a fundraiser for the “Dad’s and Lads” tour to Jeffrey’s Bay.Players get to experience what it is to be a waiter and what the job really entails.  It is not that easy to be on your feet for such a long time and to be content with the whims of difficult customers.  This the players came to understand, and after the evening they all said that they have much more sympathy with waiters and that they will tip them generously in the future.

Spelers was dit eens dat dit nie so ‘n maklike werk is nie.  Bestellings moet geneem word en klante moet die regte bestellings kry.  Luckily the regular waiters of Wimpy were there to help get the orders right.
