Glenwood House School triathletes excelled at the recent SA Duathlon Champs

Glenwood House School triathletes excelled at the recent SA Duathlon Champs held in Hoekwil and hosted by Eden Triathlon. Glenwood girls brought home 3 of the 4 gold medals in the junior categories. In the Girls Sprint category (5km run, 20km cycle, 2.5km run), Annabelle McEwan achieved Gold in the 16/17 category with a good tactical performance, and in the process also beat the girls in the 18/19 category. In the Girls SuperSprint category (2.5km run, 10km cycle, 1.25km run), both Duné Haasbroek (14/15) and Keyla Douglas (12/13) produced dominant performances to have convincing wins over their competition on the testing course. Noah Habib also did very well to achieve 12th place in his age group (14/15) in a very competitive Boys SuperSprint category. Well done!!
