Durban High School have another Biathle/Triathle World Champion – Ryan Viviers!! Ryan Viviers proudly represented South Aftica at the UIPM 2025 Biathle/Triathle World Championship in Mossel Bay 8-10 December. Athletes from 34 countries competed at this championship, resulting in some fierce international racing. Ryan competed in the U17 Biathle (Run – Swim – Run format) Individual and Mixed Relay races. Culminating in him being crowned Biathle World Champion. Together with his partner they also ran a strong Mixed Relay race and managed to capture the World title (Biathle U17). Sharing the podium with Australia (Silver) and Great Britain (Bronze). South Africa delivered an exceptional standard of racing and the U17 boys won the Gold Team medal!
