Curro Durbanville learner Alice Venter (Under 17) competed at the South African Championships Biathle on 10 August in Buffalo City representing the Western Cape. The race consists of a continuous 1600m run-200m swim- 1600m run requiring speed and endurance. Alice placed 3rd in the Under 19 Females category and qualified to compete in Egypt at the World Championships in October.  It’s a spectacular achievement and we will be cheering her on from the opposite side of the continent as she represents our country, province and school.
