The Wykeham Collegiate proudly celebrated Founders’ Day on Saturday, 31 May, welcoming our TWC families, staff, and Old Girls for a meaningful day of commemoration and connection. The festivities began with lively inter-house sports matches, including cross country, hockey, netball, and soccer. Following the sports, everyone gathered in the LHC (Leoné Hogg Centre) for a heartfelt service of thanksgiving. This special moment reaffirmed the values that unite our school community—integrity, gratitude, and a deep respect for the legacy of our Founders and all those who have contributed to the rich history of The Wykeham Collegiate. A touching highlight was the TWC tradition of the pledge and padlocking ceremony, where our new pupils make a pledge followed by the girls locking padlocks onto the school fence, symbolically affirming their place in the TWC family.
