Fairmont High School took part in the Week of Warriors blood donation

Earlier this term, Fairmont High School proudly took part in the Week of Warriors blood donation campaign, in partnership with the Western Cape Blood Service. Thanks to the enthusiasm and commitment of our learners, the clinic saw an incredible turnout with 115 attendees, 91 units of blood collected, and 37 first-time donors stepping up to make a difference. We’re proud to have played a role in a campaign that welcomed 243 new donors across 10 schools. Well done to everyone who contributed to this lifesaving effort! While we didn’t win the Week of Warriors school challenge, (we came in 2nd place, buuut, who’s counting?) We’re proud to share that Fairmont won the Overall Trophy for ‘Battle of the Blood Donors’. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this possible!
