Fairmont High School Dance Achiever: Congratulations to Ibby Chow (Grade 10) for her most recent, excellent achievements in Dance. Ibby, recently participated in two dance competitions and she obtained the following achievements/results:

Celebration of Dance on 04 May & 06 May 2023 (Final):

• 16 & under amateur modern solo own choice – Diploma / Gold medal
• 16 & under amateur modern duet – Diploma / Gold medal
• 16 & under amateur ballet duet- Diploma / Gold medal
• 16 & over Repertoire ballet – Diploma / Gold medal
• 20 & over Ballet trio – Diploma / Gold medal
• 16 & under small Ballet Group – Diploma / Gold medal
• 16 & under small Modern Group- Diploma / Gold medal
• 16 & under large Ballet Group – Diploma – Silver

Special awards at Celebration of Dance:

• Most outstanding Ballet dancer
• Most outstanding Modern dancer
• Best Ballet duet/trio/quartet 16 & under
• Best Ballet duet/trio/quartet 16 & over
• Judges favourite – Modern Duet

Cape Town Eisteddfod on 15 May 2023:

• Repertoire 15-16 years old awarded – Runner up medal
• Further to the above achievements, Ibby has been accepted into Central School of Ballet Summer intensive after a successful audition . She will be travelling to London at the end of July to the beginning of August 2023.
