Epworth School and its pupils excelled in the 2023 South African National Geography Olympiad (SANGO), achieving top results across the board. Epworth was the top independent school in the country, top school by province and Epworth Grade 12 pupil, Nicola Bentley, was top female in the country. Nicola and fellow Epworth pupil, Amelia Nettleton, were amongst the top 1% overall, coming second and 25^th respectively. In addition, Nicola has been invited to represent South Africa at the international Geography Olympiad in Indonesia later in the year.
