What could be nicer than celebrating Valentine’s Day with the Drakenstein Fire Brigade. The mercury that would rise to 38 ° C provided the ideal opportunity for a water spray display.

Our Little Larries had lots of fun and, judging by the questions they asked, learned quite a lot too.

A sincere word of thanks and appreciation goes out to all the staff members of the Drakenstein Fire Rescue. You work 24-hour shifts, under the worst circumstances, sacrificing time you could have spent with your families, to keep our Little Larries safe.

To coincide with La Rochelle Girls’ Primary School’s theme for 2022, Have courage and be kind, the girls each contributed R5 to a fund for the fire brigade. The men and women, who are currently experiencing a busy fire season again, will soon be spoiled.
