On 19 August, Curro Somerset West’s talented drama learners took to the stage in a dazzling performance of their production, “Purple-Pers,” showcasing months of hard work and dedication during their debut at the ATKV youth theatre competition. The cast, featuring Caleb Roziers, Nahum Christians, Bella Snyman, Neelo Kgosi, Kayden Wise, Xara-Leigh Johnson, and Armand Fourie, delivered a spectacular show, while the crew, consisting of Dominique Gardener, Danté Felix, Paul Dryden, Michail de Kock, and Tamarah Serfontein, ensured everything ran smoothly. Special thanks to Mr. Olivier, Ms. Grunewald, and the Art Club for their exceptional set-building efforts. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our inspiring dramatic arts teachers, Mr. van der Westhuizen and Ms. Barkhuizen, whose unwavering support and mentorship have been vital in creating a nurturing environment that allowed our learners to thrive both creatively and personally.
