A heartfelt thank you to Cmdr. Susan Kilrain, Steve Sherman from Living Maths, and Mossel Bay Tourism for bringing us an unforgettable evening at Curro Mossel Bay as part of the final stop of the Space Tour 2025.
Our learners, parents and community had the rare privilege of hearing first-hand from a NASA astronaut about life in space, the challenges of space travel, and the inspiration behind reaching for the stars. Cmdr. Kilrain’s stories of perseverance, teamwork and exploration lit a spark of curiosity and possibility in every person present.
A special word of thanks to Steve Sherman, whose passion for maths, science and learning continues to inspire young minds, and to Mossel Bay Tourism for making this iconic event part of our town’s journey. Moments like these remind us that the sky is not the limit – it’s only the beginning.
