Emily-Rose Cawood, our unstoppable force in Grade 9 at Meridian Pinehurst, has conquered the mats at the Abu Dhabi Jiu Jitsu Pro (AJP) Championship. Emily-Rose clinched the gold in her category, marking her 7th international gold medal for Jiu-jitsu. Despite being placed in the 80kg weight category against a higher-belt opponent who outweighed her, Emily-Rose made us all proud by claiming victory.
