In a recent Under 13A cricket match, Creston faced off against Margate Primary. Margate scored 96/7, with standout bowling performances from Marcel van Etteryk, who took 2 wickets for 23 runs, Clifford Orfao with 2 wickets for 7 runs, Elabo Mgoduka with 1 wicket for 17 runs, Oliver Smith with 1 wicket for 18 runs, and Brody Beekman with 1 wicket for 12 runs. Khulu Mlondo  also contributed by conceding only 2 runs. Creston responded strongly, scoring 98/1, with notable batting from Luyema Zoko (6 runs), Lutho Menziwa (17 runs), and Marcel, who scored an impressive 56 runs. Marcel’s all-round performance earned him the Man of the Match title, leading Creston to a well-deserved victory.

In another Under 13A match against Suid Natal, Creston faced a tough game and lost by 64 runs. Despite the loss, Marcel stood out as the best bowler, while the best batsman title was shared between Khulu Mlondo and Langa Cele. Unfortunately, Creston batted without 2 players, which impacted their performance.

In the Under 13B cricket match, Creston batted first and scored 92/3 in their 20 overs, with James Sharpe remaining unbeaten on 18. Suid-Natal, in response, managed 44/6 in their 20 overs. Wedu Khumalo delivered an impressive bowling performance, taking 2 wickets for 8 runs in his 3 overs. Well done to Creston on their strong performance!
