On the 20th of January 2022 Volksrust High held its first ever Social Evening, previously known as a Sokkie. Due to the various COVID-19 rules and regulations we weren’t able to hold such an event in two whole years. Devastating to many, but it’s finally back! With a twist, however. Take the traditional ‘Sokkie’ and add some spice. Accommodating to all, with more variety in music and a braai area for those not too interested in showing off their best moves on the dance floor. The evening was full of bright smiles and happy memories. To the first of many, many great Social Evenings!
