For the second year in a row, the learners and staff of Gene Louw Primary participated in a very special week-long HeRoz initiative. During this week, learners were reminded in different ways of who their true HERO is – the One who ROSE for all of us. Various motivational speakers visited the school, sharing special messages, and the Prefects of Brackenfell Primary joined the Genies for a most memorable assembly. In a perfect conclusion to this initiative, learners got to dress-up as their favourite superhero on Friday, 21 April.
The learners did not disappoint in their creativity and flair! Learners also had the option of wearing anything red to introduce the school’s value for Term 2, namely RESPECT. Gene Louw Primary’s values form the core of the school’s vision, and a new value is introduced and embraced with every new term.
