St Teresa’s School PTA Readathon. St Teresa’s School launched their annual PTA Read-a-thon last week Friday with a book character dress-up day at the Junior Primary School in Craighall Park and a  classroom door decoration competition at the Senior Primary School in Rosebank. The Readathon is a PTA fundraising event for Grade 00 to Grade 12 held during the August school holidays from 5 August to 5 September.

The year’s theme is Superheroes and the aim of the Readathon is to encourage our learners to READ as much as possible during the holidays. Learners are sponsored for the number of books they read, the number of minutes they read or both, with all proceeds going towards PTA projects. Thanks to generous sponsors Jacana Media, Penguin Random House and Pan Macmillan there are lots of exciting prizes up for grabs for our super readers.
