Marist Brothers Linmeyer (MBL)-High School Equestrian Team. The 2022 competition season jumped off this year with our riders competing against the JHB Central schools at Eaton Farm this past weekend. Bailey Rawstorne (Grade 10) and her horse, Heart of Caesour, have set their sights on greater heights and moved up to compete in the 110cm showjumping and 100cm equitation classes. This jumping duo jumped into 4^th and 6^th place in the show-jumping and rode with precision into 7^th place for equitation. Congratulations, Bailey!

Riding into her last year of high school competition is Savanna Moreira (Grade 12) and her horse, Chewbacca. Savanna competed in dressage, prix caprelli, in hand utility and performance riding. These disciplines demand precision and poise from the rider and obedience from the horse – certainly not an easy ask! Savanna and Chewbacca proved that they remain a fantastic team with a 2^nd for in hand utility and results in the top ten for her other very large classes. Congratulations, Savanna! I hope this year is a very special one!
