On Saturday, February 15th, 2025, our Volksrust High School family took part in the fiercely competitive athletics event at Standerton. Despite the intense challenges, every one of our athletes stepped up and showcased true Volkie guts in every event they were enlisted in. Your determination, hard work, and indomitable spirit shone through, and you all made us incredibly proud.

I also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our athletes. Your perseverance and willingness to give your best in every challenge are what make our team so special. Your efforts inspire us all, and you truly embody the essence of what it means to be a Volkie.

A special shout-out goes to our fantastic singsong athletes. Your energy and enthusiastic support not only made the day exciting but also lifted the spirits of everyone on the field. Thank you for being the heartbeat of the event and for cheering on our athletes every step of the way.

And finally, a big thank you to all the teachers who served as officials. Your professionalism and dedication ensured that the competition ran smoothly and fairly, and for that, we are deeply grateful.Together, we have shown that when we come together as a family—with heart and passion—nothing can stop us. Thank you once again for your perseverance, your spirit, and for giving your best. Let’s continue to carry this energy forward into every challenge we face.
