As the school year draws to a close, our small but vibrant SCM Bible study group, IGNITE, gathered for a final time, reflecting on the journey they’ve shared and the bonds they’ve formed. In the last week of school, a closing Prayer Summit was held in the school hall, filled with emotion as members worshiped and prayed together. On the very last school day before the final exams, the group said their goodbyes in praise and worship. The sense of camaraderie and shared faith was palpable. Though the school year ends, the connections and memories forged will endure.

“We’ve been more than just a Bible study group; we’ve become family,” said Lwethu Sangweni, one of the group leaders. “I’ll cherish these moments forever.”Founded by grade 12 learner, Lwazi Zulu and patroned by Miss Senzy Khumalo, the Bible study group has served as a place of refuge for the souls of many learners in the school.The members of the group expressed heartfelt appreciation for the support they received from the teachers in the school, especially, Miss Anneli Cockroft, Miss Zuzaan Van der Merwe and Mrs Marietjie Steyn.Congratulations to Volksrust High School Bible study group on an incredible year!
