The Wykeham Collegiate staff and pupils showed their support of ‘cancer month’ by wearing a hat “with a dash of Pink” on 23 October 2024. Funds raised will go to Umduduzi Hospice Care for Children. #HATSON4CPC is an initiative raising international awareness of the need for children’s palliative care and the work of Children’s Palliative Care (CPC) services worldwide.

The school was adorned in pink for a week, trees were wrapped in pink bows, pink flowers decorated offices and pink piggies moved into the library foyer. The whole school enjoyed a special “pink” tea on Wednesday, where we honoured cancer survivors, those who are currently undergoing treatment and those who we lost to cancer.
