On Sunday 5 May, two of  The Settlers High School learners, Aymih Topley in grade 11 and Chad Solomon in grade 12, achieved their Western Cape Provincial qualification and advancement to the National Championship Round of the Hip-Hop Unite event. Aymih obtained a Gold medal in the Junior Mega Crew division and Chad obtained a Silver medal in the Adult Small Crew division.  If their crews place in the Top 3 at Nationals, they will qualify to go to Opatija, Croatia for the finals.  Congratulations, we are holding thumbs!
