Hout Bay International School would like to extend their congratulations to two of their High School students who both competed at the South African Equestrian Youth Championships in KZN in December.

• Rebecca Wormald (DP 1) and Capitao were selected to ride for the Western Cape Dressage Team (for under 25 year olds). Rebecca rode exceptionally well and together with Capitao won the South African Junior Dressage Championships, the South African Junior Freestyle Championships and the Victor Ludorum. Rebecca’s dedication, long hours of daily training and talent culminated in this fantastic achievement.
• Leandra Parker (MYP 3) and Consumate Professional competed in Equitation and Show Jumping, placing 3rd overall in Equitation and 5th in Show Jumping. In their team events they placed 1st in the Junior Intermediate Equitation and 3rd in the Junior 1m Show Jumping.
