“If you can speak, you can influence. If you can influence, you can change lives.” Baden Michaels and Juhan du Toit took part in this year’s museum speech competition at the Drostdy museum. There were 6 participants and Juan received a second place and will be going through to the next round. Juhan’s speech was about “Museums facing challenges in the modern era.” His favourite part about public speaking is the support from the audience. Juhan will be participating again in September.
