St Domonic’s Catholic School for Girls Pilgrimage Cross Journey

The cross, inspired by St. Pope John Paul II, recently arrived at St Dominic’s from Veritas College in a beautiful prayer service held in the St Dominic’s School chapel. The cross will continue its journey to various schools until it reaches its final destination at the Grade 11 Mass at the Cathedral of Christ the King in May.
On March 11, St Dominic’s proudly handed over the Pilgrimage Cross to its brother school, CBC Boksburg in a stunning prayer service, delivering the cross with pride.
“We pray that the Pilgrimage Cross brings hope, inspiration, and unity to all who encounter it on its journey,” said Mrs Pauline Penny – Head of Ethos at St Dominic’s The event was a testament to the unity and shared faith among Catholic schools in Johannesburg.As the Pilgrimage Cross continues its journey, it serves as a reminder of the power of faith and unity among the Catholic community.
