During the first term, the Grade 5 learners at St Benedict School in Pinetown explored the rich history of South Africa’s first inhabitants, the San hunter-gatherers. In the last week of school they brought their learning to life with a special San Day! From acting out a hunt and trying their hand at bows and arrows, to enjoying a traditional-style feast, taking part in a scavenger hunt and creating rock art, it was a day of fun and exploration and meaningful learning.
