St Benedict School in Pinetown has a tradition where, at the beginning of each year, existing and new families from both the Primary and the High School meet on the school fields to picnic and to socialise. The occasion provides a perfect opportunity for the staff, pupils and parents to get to know each other a little better in an informal setting after a busy first week back at school.
