The junior and senior debating teams from The High School for Girls potchefstroom  participated in the annual Inter-school Debate Challenge, themed ‘The Exploration of South Africa as Chair of the G20,’. This event was held at Tiger Kloof Combined School in Vryburg on 9 August 2025, presented by PL Alumni.

Congratulations to the the senior team who secured second position: Diya Zacaria, Kamogelo Mashishi, Mpho Matamela, Bophelo Mphakati, and Bokamoso Motloung.

On the other hand, the junior team won first position: Mokgetoa Ramusi, Sara Heffa Lounge, Lethabo Tsiri, Alicia Boreni, and Sinaye Tuntulwana. Special congratulations to Sara Heffa Lounge for winning the Best Speaker award for the junior team.
