Pretoria Boys High School fencing results

Pretoria Boys High School achieved the “U20 Epee Top Ranked School of the year” for Gauteng at the GFA (Gauteng Fencing Association) awards evening.Furthermore, Gainpaulo Alvares achieved Gauteng Colours for U17, U20 and Senior Epee and Kean Brummer achieved Gauteng Colours for U17 Epee. During the holidays, Gauteng hosted the National Open, a competition open to all participants. Vincent Visser secured a double bronze for two of the events with our other athletes just nearly missing the podium. For South African athletes, this event contributes to their national rankings, which play a crucial role in determining the national team for the upcoming year. The official team announcement will follow at a later date.
