Hokkie nuusberig: Die afgelope naweek het Cradock Laerskool, op die hokkieveld, kragte gemeet teen Union High School. Ons meisies het Union deur die bank laat baklei vir elke punt.  Hier volg die tellings:

  • o.10B:  0-2
  • o.10A:  0-4
  • o.13B:  0-3
  • o.13C:  Verloor
  • o.13D:  0-1
  • o.13A:  0-1

The u.13A game was an immensely anticipated match-up.  Both teams were fired up and ready to go, despite the cold.  With Union High being the much more experienced team, Cradock Primary did not let the label of underdog get to them.  Instead, this fuelled their hunger even more.

The team showcased their skills throughout the game, keeping a cool and focused demeanour.  Credit must go to the rock steady defence of CPS.  They truly stood up to the test and kept a relentless Union from scoring a goal.  On attack the girls tried their best, but unfortunately, like the case has been this season, could not capitalize on the opportunities they created.

Late in the game Union managed to break our defence and scored the only goal of the match.  This match was an immaculate example of how teamwork and grit can make an underdog rise to the occasion.  The girls never backed down and gave it their best shot.  Cradock Primary, and in particular their coach Ms De Klerk, are very proud of each of these girls.

Cradock Primary School’s u.13 B team faced off against Union High in a thrilling match where Cradock displayed high-quality defence in most of the first half. The whole game was a tense affair, with both teams desperate to find the back of the net. Union beat Cradock 3-0 with well-taken goals. The girls showed great character and team spirit throughout the game.

Rugby vs Union Op ‘n koue Saterdagoggend, verterk Laerskool Cradock vroeg die oggend om teen Union kragte te meet in Graaff-Reinet.

  • The hard work and dedication paid off for the u.11B team where they played excellent rugby and won the match 50 – 0.
  • Die o.11A rugbyspan het ‘n indrukwekkende vertoning gelewer en het hul teenstanders met 26 – 15 geklop. Die span se koördinasie en spanwerk was uitmuntend, wat gelei het tot goeie hardloop rugby.
  • The u.13B team delivered a dominant performance, controlling the match with powerful play in both halves and won the game 43 – 0.

We are extremely proud of each and every rugby player!
