Bossie-Kidz in 2024 started with a colourful flourish on 29 January –here we had the junior group spend the afternoon making beautiful keyrings.  The learners had a wonderful time creating something they could take home for themselves.  For this get together, each learner received a single keyring, a string, and 5 colourful beads.  It took a lot of hard work, by threading 5 vibrant beads they could complete this project.

The Laerskool Bosveld Primary learners who took part in this activity learnt many skills alongside creativity, such as patience, beading, and most importantly:  perseverance – in the true spirit of being a  Bossie – as some keyrings seemed to have a mind of their own.  At the end of the day, the learners had a rich creative and social experience. The Bossie-Kidz team for 2024 is excited for the year that lies ahead and is grateful to see the first event ending as such a success.
