Congratulations to the following 3 Kenridge athletes who represented the Western Cape at the SA Schools Athletics Championships in Limpopo on 24-26 March. Kenridge is extremely proud of their outstanding results and 5 medals. A special mention of Daniël van der Westhuizen needs to be made as he set a new SA record in the boys 13 years Long Jump – 6,24m! He also won a silver medal in the 200m, and a gold medal for the 4 x 100m relay. Silke Aucamp won a gold medal in the girls 11 years 1200m. Kara du Toit made finals for the 80m, 100m and long jump for girls 10 years. Kara won a silver medal for the 4 x 100m relay. What a great way to end the athletics season!
