On Friday, the 11th of August, Holy Family College Grade 10 Life Sciences and Geography learners embarked on an excursion to the Beachwood Mangroves. With a thirst for knowledge and an eagerness to discover the intricacies of this unique ecosystem, the students set foot in nature’s classroom. Throughout the excursion, the students learned about the vital role that the Beachwood Mangroves play in the larger ecosystem. The excursion not only provided a hands-on experience but also allowed our learners to reflect on the importance of preserving our natural habitats.
The excursion to the Beachwood Mangroves was undoubtedly a memorable and enriching experience. It served as a reminder that nature’s classrooms provide some of the most valuable lessons, reminding us of our interconnectedness and the importance of living in harmony with the ecosystems that sustain us.
