Innovation, creativity and hands-on learning came together in Grade 3 as our learners explored the fascinating world of inventors and inventions. As part of their learning, the Grade 3’s discovered more about Alexander Graham Bell and the invention of the telephone, before putting his concept to the test through an exciting practical activity of their own. Watching the learners collaborate, experiment and problem-solving together made the lesson come alive in such a meaningful and memorable way.
At Felixton College, we love creating classroom experiences where learning is not only understood, but truly experienced. Lessons like these encourage curiosity, teamwork, communication and critical thinking, while also allowing our learners to have fun as they learn.
In our smaller classroom environment, every learner has the opportunity to participate, engage and grow in confidence through interactive and purposeful learning opportunities. It is wonderful to see our learners so excited to discover how ideas from the past continue to shape the world around us today.
