Story Stars is a writing competition by the WCED for all grade 4 pupils in the province. We have a 2025 Story Stars winner (2nd year running from Metro North District).

• 1^st:     Anina Walters|Durbanville Primary (4^th also from Durbies),
• 2^nd:  Isabella Hubbard | Kleinmond Primary and
• 3^rd:    Hafsa Ackers | Rustenburg Girls’ Junior.

The award function was hosted by Durbanville Primary on 20 February 2025 and MEC, David Maynier, handed out the prizes and watched the 2025 animation for the 1^st time.
