This term the Grade 3 pupils at St Benedict School in Pinetown have been reading “The Enchanted Wood” by Enid Blyton. As they finished the book, they climbed the tree to find “The Land of Fairy Tales” at the top of the tree. To end the term they enjoyed a “Fairy Tale” day – coming to school dressed up as a character from a fairy tale and sharing a picnic. They ended their day by reading fairy tales to the Grade R/RR/RRR children.
