Curro Thatchfield learner scouted to perform at Talent America 2025

Curro Thatchfield High School is thrilled to announce that Omphile Seshoka, our learner leadership council head of culture and a Grade 12 learner, has been selected to represent team South Africa at Talent America in 2025. This prestigious event will take place in New York City from 11 to 13 July 2025.
Omphile was scouted after his impressive performance at the Show Your Talent event, held at NWU in Vanderbijlpark on 12 August 2024. He earned a silver award for his R&B performance and a gold for his pop singing, showcasing his exceptional talent and versatility.
Mr Justin Choveaux, Executive Head of Curro Thatchfield, expressed his enthusiasm: ‘What a wonderful achievement for Omphile. We are all incredibly proud of him and his remarkable accomplishments. This is a testament to his hard work and dedication. We look forward to supporting him as he represents our school and country on this exciting international stage.’
