The Curro Kathu boys proudly represented the Northern Cape Barbarians at the annual Wildeklawer Sports Tournament in Kimberley this past weekend.

Eight of our Ysbere were selected to take part in this prestigious event, which is widely regarded as the largest school sports tournament in the country – if not the world. We are extremely proud to see our boys competing and sharing the field with the very best schoolboy players South Africa has to offer. The following Curro players represented with distinction:

  • Hansie Snyders
  • Caremel Zweni
  • Keanan Mathys
  • Levaan Badenhorst
  • Joshua Luciano
  • Bokomoso Dihemo
  • Leequan Fredericks
  • Kabelo Mothlaro

In both matches played — Game 1 vs Marlow and Game 2 vs Sentraal Barbarians — every try scored by the Northern Cape Barbarians was scored by a Curro Ysbeer player, underlining the impact and quality of our boys on the big stage.

Well done to each of these players for their commitment, talent, and the pride with which they represented Curro Kathu and the Northern Cape.
