On Thursday the 9th of May, our High School chess team competed against De Villiers Graaff at Curro Hermanus. The format was a 4 Round Rapid Individual-Swiss. After the 4 rounds, the points of the best 10 players from each school were added together to determine a winning school. With only a one point difference, Curro Hermanus was victorious with a total of 26.5 points whilst De Villiers Graaff scored 25.5. Ethan Higham was the arbiter for the day.
