Crawford International Sandton College Student Iman Sekoto Crowned Teen Universe Petite South Africa 2026. Iman Sekoto (Class of 2025) was crowned Teen Universe Petite South Africa 2026 on Sunday the 14th of December at the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace, a youth mental empowerment advocate and global representative for inclusive leadership. Iman’s crowning was a historic win for the Gauteng Province, as this is the first time the Teen Universe Petite South Africa is won by a Gauteng contestant.
Through her advocacy, Glow from Within, Iman focuses on strengthening the mental and emotional well-being of young people, particularly those from underserved communities. She has actively worked with children at Emandleni Crèche in Meadowlands, Soweto, where she promotes confidence-building, emotional awareness, and self-belief among youth. In addition, Iman has partnered with the Winnie Mabaso Foundation, supporting initiatives that empower young people by nurturing their self-confidence, self-worth, and personal development through practical empowerment tools and mentorship.
Iman’s work reflects her belief that empowered minds create empowered futures. As she prepares to represent South Africa internationally in Nicaragua (February 2026), she is committed to showcasing South African values of resilience, compassion, and unity, while redefining what inclusive representation and youth leadership look like on global stages. We invite potential sponsors to partner with Iman Sekoto as she prepares to represent South Africa on an international platform. Iman Sekoto will be available for media interviews and Sponsorship engagements from the 13th of January 2025.
