Crawford Sandton at Inter-Crawford 2025. Inter-Crawford 2025 was a truly memorable and rewarding experience for Crawford Sandton, as we proudly represented our campus at the annual festival hosted by Crawford North Coast. With months of preparation and a strong sense of unity, our students rose to the occasion and delivered an exceptional performance across a range of sporting codes.

Our journey began in February, when our selected sports participants committed to early morning and afternoon fitness sessions. These sessions were key in building strength, discipline, and teamwork, and set the tone for the competitive season ahead. Trials for the winter sports codes followed shortly after, allowing us to finalise our teams based on skill, dedication, and potential. While our summer sports teams had already been selected earlier in the season, we were proud to include several younger athletes who stepped up to the challenge and contributed meaningfully.

The effort and preparation paid off, and we are thrilled to share that Crawford Sandton won three out of the eight sports offered at the festival. We secured first place in Boys and Girls Basketball, as well as in Chess, where our team remained undefeated throughout the competition. These outstanding victories not only reflect the high calibre of talent at our school but also highlight the growth and momentum of our sports programme. In addition to our wins, our students represented Crawford Sandton with pride and determination in Boys and Girls Soccer, Girls Hockey, and Netball. While we did not top the podium in these disciplines, the level of competitiveness and sportsmanship displayed by our teams was nothing short of inspiring. Overall, we are proud to report a significant achievement that reflects the dedication of our athletes and coaching staff.

Furthermore, our students were treated to buffet breakfasts and dinners throughout the festival, adding to the overall enjoyment and giving everyone a chance to come together, share stories, and celebrate each day’s accomplishments. These moments of bonding and celebration contributed to the strong sense of unity that defined our Inter-Crawford experience.

Crawford Sandton is committed to building a reputation not only for academic excellence but also for sporting growth and achievement. The increasing number of students involved in many of the sporting codes we offer, the quality of coaching, and the continued focus on physical education are all contributing factors. We are incredibly proud of each student who represented our school with dignity, determination, and pride. Their conduct both on and off the field was exemplary, and they served as outstanding ambassadors for Crawford Sandton.  A heartfelt thank you must be extended to our dedicated coaches, supportive parents, and the staff who made this event possible. Your commitment and encouragement were essential in making this a successful and unforgettable experience.
