From the tender age of 4, Delio and Alessio Martiradonna, two talented students at Crawford International Ruimsig, have been deeply immersed in the world of soccer. Their journey began with a simple love for the game, but their passion and dedication have seen them rise to remarkable heights. Both boys train rigorously several times a week, honing their skills and perfecting their techniques. Their commitment is unwavering, and they compete in numerous matches, showcasing their talent and determination on the field.

Their hard work has not gone unnoticed. Delio and Alessio’s achievements include making The League team, earning titles such as “Most Improved Player,” and having opportunities to be team captains and “Man of the Match.” They have also joined the Global Soccer Schools International team in the Manchester UK tour, in March – April this year, where they met Premier League player Lyle Foster and trained with Manchester United Academy coaches, playing numerous games with other top teams. Additionally, the boys play for Supersport Schools, with Delio making the Global League Team for Supersport and Alessio making the Super League Team for Supersport. This league, beyond their regular training and games, focuses on advanced soccer development and competitive matches with other league schools.

“Delio and Alessio are super passionate about soccer and work very hard. Our saying at home is ‘standing still is not an option’… win or lose. It’s about being a good person and a good sportsman. In saying that, they have achieved growth in the sport, skill, and character, and I couldn’t be prouder” says their mom, Suzie Martiradonna.

Both boys play in weekly league competitions, with the primary objective to stay in the league, keep growing, and be accepted into the league in 2025. “With ambitious goals to excel in soccer, Delio and Alessio aim to absorb as much wisdom and experience as possible. Their humility and determination to succeed continues to be inspiring on and off the field,” says Crawford International Ruimsig, where the boys attend school. As they continue on their soccer journey, Delio and Alessio Martiradonna are shining examples of what dedication, passion, and hard work can achieve.
